Ronald H. Wender, M.D.
Dr. Wender was appointed to the Division of Medical Quality by Governor
Gray Davis in 2000 and reappointed by Governor Schwarzenegger in 2004. He is co-chair of the Department of
Anesthesiology for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he runs a teaching and research program in Anesthesiology.
These programs are affiliated with various University of California schools including UC Los Angeles, UC Irvine, as
well as UC San Francisco, the University of Southern California, and the Martin Luther King/Drew Medical Center.
He is a founding member of the Society of Office Based Anesthesia and belongs to several professional societies relating to anesthesiology.
Dr. Wender earned a medical doctorate from Tulane University School of Medicine in Louisiana.
