Federation Credentials Verification Service Application

The Medical Board of California (Board) offers this link to the Federation Credentials Verification Service (FCVS) application as a convenience to our applicants. FCVS is NOT a requirement for filing a Physician's and Surgeon's Application in California. In fact, even if you submit a FCVS application, you must still complete and submit an "Application for Physician's and Surgeon's License" to the Board.

Instead, FCVS is provided in order to offer medical school graduates a permanent and centralized portfolio of primary source-verified documents. You should consider whether or not this service is beneficial to you; you may learn more about FCVS at: http://www.fsmb.org/fcvs.html.
